AI progress has largely been measured using broad cognitive benchmarks that evaluate reasoning, language understanding, and general problem solving. Benchmarks such as Humanity’s Last Exam have played an important role in tracking the rapid rise of cognitive AI performance.

THE NEED

Domain-Specific Benchmarks

Safety-critical engineering requires evaluation that is domain-specific and aligned with the industry’s rigorous technical standards. To modernize nuclear design workflows, the field needs narrow, application-focused benchmarks purpose-built for reactor physics.

AI's Exam for Reactor Physics

To ensure responsible adoption and absolute transparency, we are establishing the RxQore Reactor Physics Benchmark. We invite the nuclear community — researchers, engineers, students, regulators, and industry partners — to help define the 'Ground Truth.'
